Herbal teas are the favorite way for many people to enjoy the benefits of herbs. Our teas are combinations of dried herbs. Our customers can brew to desired strength and may drink the tea hot, room temperature or iced. Teas may be flavored with fruit juice or even frozen into a popsicle!

Tinctures

A tincture is a liquid concentrated extract of an herb. They are usually taken by diluting a few drops into warm water or juice. Most tinctures are made with alcohol as the solvent. The tinctures made here on the farm are made with pure grain alcohol and distilled water. The amount of alcohol is quite small when the tincture is used properly. If one does not want any alcohol content, there are tinctures made with apple cider vinegar or vegetable glycerin. These are normally not as strong as alcohol based tincture but are preferred for children or alcohol sensitive adults. Any tincture made by us personally can be special ordered in non-alcohol form. Extra time will be needed as these would not be ready made. We also carry tinctures made by outside manufacturers and only carry the highest quality available.

Important notes regardng herbs: Some herbs are not recommended for internal use by the FDA. Others are contraindicated for pregnant or nursing women. These will be indicated where applicable.
